Frequently asked questions

Are there volume discounts for large orders?

You benefit from an order of 10 products:

  • From 10 products: 5%
  • From 20 products: 10%
  • From 50 products: 15%
  • From 100 products: 20%
  • From 300 products: 25%

What printing options are available?

We use DTF printing, an innovative method that allows us to produce high-quality prints with vivid colors and precise details. This technology provides an effective way to transfer designs onto different materials and allows us to produce high-quality products.

How do I wash my textiles?

For long durability we recommend the following care instructions:

  • Maximum washing temperature: 30 degrees Celsius
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not soften
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not iron over the print
  • Do not dry clean
  • Wash inside out.

The "film" on the print and adhesive residue next to the print are removed with the first wash.

Which file formats can we print? And how should the print file be set up?

First of all, we would like to stress that we are fans of vector graphics! Perfect vector graphics are the ultimate for us. The file resolution should be at least 300 dpi. Make sure that the contour or line thickness is at least 0.4 mm and the distances between colored areas should be at least 0.6 mm to avoid fusion when pressed.

Possible file formats : "pdf", "png", "ai", "svg"

PDF vs PNG : We generally recommend using PDF as the preferred print file format. The edge quality remains high, especially with vector-based graphics. PNG tends to rasterize images and convert them to RGB when exporting, which is optimized for web display. The rasterization means that color gradients can appear at the edges, with only 2% color left at the end. The DTF printing software fills these incomplete pixels with white. Cut-out JPEG files can only be converted to PNG. For optimal print results, we recommend an image resolution of 300 dpi.

Colouring : Please avoid using special colours such as Pantone or HKS tones, as this can lead to colour deviations. Colours in the CMYK colour space are ideal for DTF printing, while the RGB colour space is also possible, but with potential colour deviations. We recommend creating your print data in the CMYK colour space to minimise colour deviations as much as possible.

Line thickness : It is important to ensure that individual lines have a line thickness of at least 0.4 mm. Otherwise, the adhesive may not be able to be applied properly in those places because there is not enough surface area available for the adhesive. In addition, incorrect color representations may occur. The line thickness only affects individual lines. The line thickness is not relevant within a motif.

Fonts : Basically, we can print any font. However, it should be noted that playful or eroded fonts can produce undesirable effects. This occurs when the recommended line width is not reached. Since we do not have every font in our font library, it is imperative to ensure that the fonts are converted to paths or curves.

Gradients : It is not advisable to use gradients that are translucent or have a lower coverage. The white background can lead to steps or incorrect representation of the gradient. Gradients from color to color with full coverage can be printed without any problem.

Gray tones : To correctly create gray tones in the DTF printing process, only black ink particles (K-Black) should be used. The colors cyan, magenta and yellow should not be used to create gray tones, as mixing them can cause an undesirable color cast and discoloration in the result. If gray tones are created with cyan, yellow and magenta, this can lead to a blue or green cast in the gray tone. This is because the DTF printing process is based on the subtractive color system and each of the colors cyan, yellow and magenta has a certain color intensity. By mixing these colors to create gray tones, the resulting color may not always have the desired shade of gray.

Motif backgrounds : We print the data as you provide it to us. For motifs that are sent with a white background, this will be printed. It is white, but does not contain any color. Colored areas must not be overprinted, otherwise they will be printed in the print and this could lead to an undesirable print result.
You can also check each file yourself with Adobe Reader. Open your file and you can go to Edit -> Preferences -> Page Display -> Page Content and Information -> Show Transparency Grid

Now you can see where a white space is and how your design will be printed. This is just a quick way to check. However, if there are hidden layers in your PDF, for example, these will not be displayed. However, the DTF printing software recognizes the layers. Therefore, it is important to delete all unnecessary and hidden layers.

What else needs to be considered: The file length must not exceed 0.5 meters!

Have you cut out an image and want to use it? Please pay attention to the resolution! The more perfect it is, the better the edges will look. Remember to export your data with the correct PPI values. The files are also not scaled here. If your files are slightly too small, this will not be registered as an error here, but will simply be printed as is. Please also avoid shadows! The glue will give them a white background! We do not need a cut contour (cutting line). Get rid of it! Please do not mirror the graphics. The printer mirrors automatically! All areas must not be set to overprint.

Can I get samples or proofs before placing a bulk order?

Please always make your own test prints on paper first. This is especially true for small graphics, fonts and fine lines. The durability decreases the smaller the elements are. We create sample prints for large orders. Unfortunately, this is not possible for individual orders.

How long does it take to deliver my order?

Delivery times are between two and five working days.

How do I store DTF transfers and on which fabrics does DTF printing generally not hold well?

When handling DTF transfers, it is important to follow some storage instructions to ensure their quality:

1. Avoid humidity: The glue used in DTF transfers is hygroscopic and attracts moisture from the air. This can cause the transfers to stick together or lose their adhesion. Therefore, it is advisable to store DTF transfers in a low humidity environment. If possible, choose a room with a relative humidity of less than 40%.

2. Store in airtight containers: An effective way to minimize exposure to moisture is to store the transfers in airtight containers. Plastic boxes or even vacuum-sealed bags work well for this. This will prevent moisture from penetrating the transfers and keep them in optimal condition.

3. Storage period: Under optimal conditions, DTF transfers can be stored for up to 6 months.

4. Avoid temperature fluctuations: Extreme or sudden temperature changes can affect the quality of DTF transfers. Therefore, transfers should be stored in a constant temperature environment, ideally at room temperature.

5. Store upright: If possible, DTF transfers should be stored upright to avoid sticking together under their own weight. If this is not possible, store them flat and avoid placing heavy material on top.

6. Fast processing: Although DTF transfers can be stored for a period of time, it is recommended to process them as soon as possible. The longer they are stored, the greater the risk that moisture or other environmental factors can affect their quality. It is therefore advisable to use the DTF transfers promptly to achieve best results.

On which fabrics does DTF printing generally not work well?

DTF printing generally does not hold well on water-repellent, heavily textured or very coarse fabrics. These include materials such as:

  • Wax fabric
  • Silicone coated fabrics
  • Highly structured textiles (knitwear, coarse polos, ...)
  • Very coarse linen fabric
